Hi Niall,
We had a great vacation thanks to all your wonderful arrangements for us. All the accomodations were perfect! They were in beautiful settings.
Tom did ann excellent job driving although he was not able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery as much as the rest of us.
The hotel in Amsterdam was very nice too. Thank you for all your help in getting this together for us.

Hello Niall,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. This is my first week back at work from vacation and I have been very busy since. I finally got a few minutes to drop you a few lines.
Scotland was beautiful!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!! We really, really enjoyed every minute of it. The hotels you put us up in were perfect and the castle hotel was awesome, can't remember the name off the top of my head but it was great. They served us the 4 course meal which was delicious. Everything is so green and the people are very friendly, I would go back there in a heartbeat!! You did an excellent job with everything, THANKS AGAIN!
All was perfect until we found out our flight out of Glasgow was cancelled. We called Continental that morning and they said they booked us out of Edinburgh. So we drove the rental car and dropped it off at the Hertz rental place at the Edinburgh airport. Our flight was delayed an hour but other than that all turned out great!!
I highly recommend Scotland for anyone interested in going!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We'll stay in touch for our next trip!!

Niall,
Wow, we had a great trip! The weather was beautiful and all the places we went were amazing. We thank you very much. We followed the majority of your suggestions and they turned out to be great. We absolutely loved Dingle. Dingle was brilliant. Not just the scenery around conor’s pass, or slea head drive but the town itself. We did the fungie boat trip and everything. Of course
Galway and Kinsale, we just as great as I remembered them. The last time I was in Kinsale it was November so it was much different seeing it with the great weather. I can give you a list of Band B’s, bars, and restaurants that we went to if you would like to know. I picked up a bunch of cards from St. Judes as well if you want me to send them to you. Let me know when you get a chance!!
We both just wanted to say thank you and if you have any questions about anything we would be more than happy to let you know our feelings thoughts and stories!!!

Niall,
Got back home at 2AM after a 29 hour day(not complaining that's what I asked for) and we wish we were still there.
Had a great time just far too short. Loved the hotels you booked and Pax house was fantastic. B&B's were nice too. Basically followed your route but devitated all along the coast from Kinsale to Dingle bypassing Kerry peninsula. Long hard drive, but the scenery from Mizen Head all the way thru Bantry and thru Moll gap into Killarney was well worth it. And the weather all week was FANTASTIC.
Far more blue sunny skies than we expected(or was forecast) and mostly warm. Never rained on us for more than 2 minutes at one time, and that's not an exageration.
Hopefully we'll return someday, for longer and less hectic trip. If you're still booking tours we'll be sure to keep you in mind. And will go when an election isn't under way.
All in all we couldn't have been more satisfied and the only changes we'd make are due to educating our ignorance and having better ideas of what to expect and what we'd like to do.
Thanks Again,

Hello Niall,
We just put a note in the mail to you! I wanted to thank you for a spectacular trip!!!!
Comments and suggestions:
Sheedy's - Incredibly wonderful!!! Great location! Lovely people! Spectacular food!
Benners - Very, very nice! Room was large and nicely done. Lots around the area.
Kinsale (can't remember the name) - Room a bit small but otherwise a delightful place!
Kilkenny Hiberanian - Wonderful room! People were so helpful!
Kilkea Castle - Great! Great! Great! Very country. Spectacular golf course next door.
Had the most delightful lunch in the castle's pub!
Ole Grounde Hotel - to be truthful...it's needs a little updating...furnishings kind of worn
and dirty but room was large...it's a very popular place with the locals...
a lot of activity
Suggestion for all Americans...rent a Magellan navigator! It really helped us get around.
We felt free to take off here and there and it would always get us back again.
The car ferry was delightful! Conors Pass was terrifying and fun! And yes, we got my
drum and that was also a delightful experience. We even had fun going to the DHL office
to have it shipped back. They don't do any packing at that office but the lady there said
she would take it home and pack it and send it the next day. That she did! She even enclosed a lovely note. The Irish people are very warm and caring!
Thanks, Niall.
Let me know if there is anything else we can help with.
You did such a wonderful job setting this all up.

Hi Niall,
We had a wonderful time. What a beautiful country. We saw so much and learned so much of the history of Ireland. The shopping was great also!
I think our 3 favorite properties were Bunratty Castle Hotel - the rooms were large, newer and the location was great; Ballyseede Castle - although the castle was old and worn, it had a lot of character (wish we would have seen the ghost!), the bar was cozy and the restaurant (which we had to
ourselves) was outstanding! The Irish wolfhound was unique also; and the Hibernian - the rooms were huge - but the street noise was a little much.
Our least favorite was the Actons hotel - the location was good but the property itself was too shabby; Meyrick hotel in Galway - the location was great for walking to everything,
Our driver was very knowledgable and informative. He made suggestions to our itinerary and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and pubs.
Thank you for all your suggestions. We had a fantastic trip and maybe we'll get back to Ireland someday.

Overall it was a good trip, probably too much driving (550 Miles). We loved Dingle and Doolin. Also liked Kinsale but it was really hard to get there when we got to Cork, had to hire a cab to get us back out of Cork onto the airport rd. (the concept of Slips, overpass?, tunnels and giant round-a-bouts escaped me). At times the directions seemed off (though a lot is open to interpretation). It is unfortunate they do not post signs more frequently but I guess it is part of the charm of the country side to not be cluttered with this. Of the street names in the instructions we never saw.I did learn the terminology and experienced it first hand (carriages, mini-roundabouts (paint balls), round-abouts and big round-abouts (you have to look at the road sign printed on the road to be in the correct lane). We had some good help from everbody that we asked for directions, one fellow even had us follow him thru a roundabout, very nice.
I will do a breif summary:
On the way to Doolin there was construction and thusly we got off track for a while. I did get used to the left side of the road and actually looked forward to the standard round-abouts (preffered them over trying to find my way out of the bigger cities and towns like Cork and Mallow). Loved the food and O'connells and the Guiness at the other place. (they clean the pipes!). Wish we could have stayed one more day because we had to sleep the first day and only had a little time for the burren (wanted to hike it). Would have liked to hike the Cliffs of Moher but it seems closed off at least at the visitor center. Had the best breakfast at this bed and breakfast.
The way to Dingle was long but surpisingly went off without a hitch, even caught the Ferry with 5 minutes to spare! We one problem finding the "circluar road". I think you were trying to give us a scenic route but at this point we just wanted to get there...we got directions from a fellow that helped us out of there. We LOVED Dingle, especially circling the body of water and making frequent stops to the varioius sites. Also enjoyed hiking near the B & B...wish we could have done more hiking! The bars were great too and developed a taste for Murphys, seemed to be consistently good. Went to most of the pubs there and caught a lot of traditional music. Also had the best Irish Coffee of my life. As it is a long drive to Dingle, would have liked one more day here too!
Kinsale...as mentioned, had a harrowing time getting there and bumped the car a bit when I against the wall as we first came in (the insurance was a good idea, you save me $1000!!!). It really wasn't much of a scrape, it was like the back of the passenger mirror fell off and scraped to door handles, no dents or scratches otherwise, amazing how much Hertz would have charged for that. Anyway, Kinsale was like a big Dingle, more up-to-date music and good bars, had another GREAT guiness at Daltons and a really good Irish Coffee at another place (maybe Patti can remember the name of it). We were too chicken to leave town to go to The Middleton Distillery because of the bad traffic in Cork and were afraid of getting lost again so we just hung out there...thats when it rained anyhow. Was not as impressed with Gourmet reputation the place has, maybe its the off season? Had an average but expensive meal at the Little Skillet (had a better LUNCH at Daltons!). Incidentally, the folks at Daltons had family working at the bar in Dooline (not O'Connels) where we had the good Guiness. Incidentally, ALL the Guinness we had was far better than in America, but a couple of places within Ireland seemed better than some of the other places...cleaning the pipes more often I reckon. We did go to Blarney on the way to Kinsale, very touristy as you said.
Bunratty - On the way we went to the Rock (Careef?). Liked that town, wish we had more time to go to the abbey. Almost got lost again in one of the cities but perserveered. Went to the castle, ate at Gallahans (near one of the Hotels)....this meal was the best meal we had (other than O'Connels). Was very surpised.
So in summary, now that I've had my baptism by fire (which I knew it would be), if I had it to do different I would:
Go to Bunratty and rest!!
Spend 3 Days in Dingle (you were right, it is the best)
Spend 2 days in Doolin (so as to do more hiking and exploring of the Burren)
Drive to the airport, allowing plenty of time of course
Anyway, cheers, and thanks. It was a magical place and I would go again.

Niall: First of all, we had a wonderful trip - no rain, beautiful weather, great sites.
Secondly, we need to thank both you and the Kinsellas for getting our clothes back to us.
Third: a couple of comments you can do whatever with.....
we loved the Reillys in Doolin; they were very nice and the room was good sized. We will stay there again. Ate at both McGann's and O'connell's - good food both places.
the place in Clifden was also nice - we both fell in love with that area. Leon had mapped out some out of the way places both there and in Tullamore so we drove a lot.
we wanted to take Anne O'Brien home with us! By FAR the best place you've ever sent us! We definitely want to go back there next time, and maybe stay 3 or 4 days. The Tullamore area is filled with great things to see.
Kilkenny was lovely, as always. We found a great pub - Bollard's - and enjoyed that.
Well, that's more than you wanted, I'm sure!! Anyway, thanks for working with us, and were already planning to go back within the next 24 months, so you'll hear from us again. We sing your praises whenever folks ask us about our trip.

Niall-
Thank you so much for setting EVERYTHING up for our amazing trip to Ireland! We had a wonderful time! (I can't wait to get our pictures back to "re-live" our time there!) Our tour guide/driver Pat Terry of O'Connor Company was fabulous! He was absolutely great---I would highly recommend him!
The hotels were so nice, and staff very accomodating! (Good Choices) Enjoyed sampling the food and drink everywhere! As you know, Dromoland was outstanding! We were treated like "royalty"!
Now I know that you didn't order the weather for us, but that too turned out to be perfect! Couldn't have been nicer.
So again, thank you for setting this up for us. So nice to have someone who knows what they are doing take care of the details! I also recommend to anyone to go the driver/guide route, if they can swing it! Can't beat it!
I look forward to our next visit there, whenever that may be!
Take care, and thank you.

Each hotel was different and charming and located exactly right. You did great! In fact we're talking about our next trip already. Not sure where, but be assured if it is overseas we will definitly call you for your assistance. Thanks again and talk to you soon.

Hi Niall,
What a great trip.....we really did have a nice time! There aren't too many suggestions that I would offer except I know we could have used some precise directions for some of the B & Bs. Some were really off the beaten track and the signage isn't always the best - actually it made more sense this time, but I had been there before so was accustomed to the way they did things............but the B & Bs were all excellent - as usual.
The car was fine and more than ample space.
I was a little curious about why we paid more for our air tickets than my nieces - I'm sure you used a tour basing fare, and thought perhaps it was because of our travel over the weekend on the return?
It was cold and windy but we were prepared......we were also very fortunate with the restaurants that we chose (or were recommended to us) but might also be nice to offer a few suggestions for folks going for the first time.
It was a super trip and you did a great job. Thanks for everything.

Hi Niall
Everything was absolutely great. You did a marvelous job planning our trip. We absolutely loved Adare Manor - what a treat. We were told that our room had been upgraded, there were two double beds - anyway it was great! We had tea in the afternoon and dinner that night - food delicious. Adare a lovely community (what we got to see).
First time we had driven on the left - learned a great deal and enjoyed every minute of it! The car was a Hyundai (spelled wrong) four door and drove very nicely, and due to the narrowness of some of the roads was glad of the car's size. Got used to the roundabouts - infact we really did appreciate them - great for directions. (You gave us great directions!!! and easy to follow. CORK is a very interesting place to drive in and around - sometimes their signs led us astray, but we got around it!! Had a few laughs!
Dingle was our very favorite spot. We drove around the Peninsula - absolutely beautiful. The B&B folks were very kind and we met a very interesting couple from the state there. They provided all the necessary "stuff" in our room. Food very good. Love the bacon - wish we fixed it like that here in the states.
Kinsale was quite interesting, but we didn't spend much time there as we wanted to go to Waterford, which we did, - toured the factory and made purchases. First night we ate in the White House in Kinsale which the B&B owners suggested. We did visit Blarney on the way - kissed the stone, but the castle was closed for renovations. Food was delicious wherever we ate. We enjoyed the pubs as well.
Lovely B&B and food very good. He prepared tea for us on our arrival.
Now we're on our way to Bunratty - shopped some more - did this a little everyday!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the medieval banquet. We met very nice folks everywhere we went. Did some last minute shopping here. Park House was beautiful and the "lady" was very accommodating. Again very good food.
My husband wanted us to try their "Guinness" while we were there. To this point we'd had wine, and Irish Coffee several times, but no Guinness. We get to the airport and decided to try a glass (sip) while we're there. We ordered "one" and asked for it to be put in two glasses which they did. However, a sip or two is all we took, but we can say we tried it.
We had to fly into Dublin due to 40 mile cross-winds when we arrived last Sunday and they took us by motor coach to Shannon. Saw a little more of the countryside!
Thanks for a very nice itinerary! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Where are some of the other areas/countries that you plan trips to?
Most sincerely,
Gloria C, Mt. Crawford, VA

Thanks Niall! I am trying to get caught up with work and I was going to email you so this works!
We had a wonderful trip thanks to your planning and directions. We did have a few suggestions and I know Gloria was going to email you but here are my suggestions:
Of course, Adare Manor was fabulous. It was truly lovely!
2. Dingle was delightful. Mary was very helpful and pleasant. No problems there and it’s one place I would want to see again if I went back. People were friendly, food great, but of course many shops were not open. We did go to Slea Head and had a wonderful time and took great pictures.
3. Dooneen House in Kinsale was not quite so nice. House was extra cold, shower had hot water, but it took only 1 min. and it went to "COLD". We asked the other visitors and they had experienced the same thing. No wash cloths, or hand towels, only bath towels. This family was not as friendly and we rarely saw them except for breakfast. Would not stay there again if we went back. Food was good but again many shops not opened. Also, I really think 1 day in Kinsale would have been enough to see the town and then move on. We did stop by Blarney before getting to Kinsale and enjoyed the time there then on day 2 we went to Waterford.
4. Bunratty was also wonderful. The Park House was super and Mairead was helpful and the room was very nice. We went to Bunratty Castle and stayed for the medieval banquet. It was great fun and we enjoyed the food and the people at our table.
We had no trouble with driving and the many round-abouts. This was quite an adventure!
All in all it was a great trip and we appreciate all your planning. Hope these suggestions help. I guess the only thing we would do differently would be find another B & B in Kinsale and only stay 1 night. Other than that………..THANKS! It was wonderful!

Hi Niall,
Thank you for the follow up.
I want to say that all you prepared for us was wonderful. We enjoyed the castles greatly, in fact we decided that instead of staying two nights at our last BnB in Kinsale we left a day early and booked an extra night at the Dromoland Castle.
But to be honest with you we didn't enjoy ourselves very much on the trip, I would say the reason for this was the driving. For myself, since I did all the driving, that was the most stressful part of the trip, I didn't realize it was going to be such a chore driving on the left side of the road. I
The BnB's that you booked for us were nice, clean and very friendly..
I want to stress that we are very happy with your service, and everything you put into our package; the maps, books, and suggested sites were all very helpful.
Thanks for all your help,

Niall,
The trip was great. All the arrangements worked out very well. The only change we would make if we were going to do it again would be to spend two nights in at least one more town and skip trying to get to so many places. We wound up not seeing anything in Kilkenny but a couple of pubs for dinner and then looking for music (which we didn't find). We did enjoy music in Doolin, Dingle and Kinsale and we went to the Bunratty banquet. My favorites were Dingle(Duinin House), Kinsale(Ashgrove House) and Ballyseede Castle in Tralee Co. Kerry. We spent a good deal of time on our way through Killarney on our way to Kinsale then we had to cut short the visit in Kilkenny.
Your part was very helpful and appreciated.
Thanks for everything,

We had a terrific time in Ireland. The weather was cool throughout, with occasional rain, but we were prepared for it, and it never interfered with our plans for the day. Although we may have had better weather later in the season, the plus side of going at this time was that, for the most part, the roads and towns and sites were uncrowded.
We followed your itinerary and stayed at all the B&Bs you set up for us. Directions to Ardmore House were good, but for all the others we had to stop and ask at the tourist information or elsewhere, then found them with no trouble. All were comfortable and convenient, and the hosts were all very helpful (Vera was our favorite). We could easily walk into Spiddal and Dingle. Walking into Kinsale was a bit of a hike (15 minutes) with an uphill return, but we managed it.
The mapquest-type driving instructions were sometimes difficult to follow, often because they listed street names and we could never find any names posted on the streets. The driving instructions to Kinsale would have sent us to Mallow and then down through Cork. We did not follow them and instead followed what you had highlighted on the map and had little trouble getting to Kinsale. The map you provided was very helpful.
The Ballyseede Castle was particularly enjoyable. The B&B rooms, while perfectly acceptable, were somewhat tight. The castle was a nice break with huge rooms and bathrooms, nice bathrobes, and lovely common areas. Incidentally, the small access road that leads to the castle continues on into the countryside and provides a nice place for a walk or jog. The castle breakfast was good. The castle also has a restaurant for dinner, but it was pretty expensive and we went into Tralee instead.
The last minute seat changes on the plane proved to be unnecessary. We had forgotten the seating arrangement on the airbus and thought the AC seats were separated by a B seat. That is why we asked you to change them to aisle seats. We figured it out on the way up to Boston and changed our return seats back to AC instead of the two aisle seats. Sorry for the extra trouble. All the flights were fine.
Thanks for your help.

Happy Easter Niall,
Thanks for everything -- we had a most wonderful trip! We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed every destination that you recommended. Particularly, we want to express our gratitude for your pre and post-trip follow-up concerning travel details, the super-detailed planning, and the comprehensive guide material provided! Unfortunately, we were unable to get to Kilkenny as planned since we felt it would be too far. Above and beyond the fact that we got lost trying to find our way around out-of-the-way country roads and by getting stuck in heavy traffic in downtown
Cork.
We absolutely loved Doolin and the B&B there -- best regards from the owner -- We very much appreciated the drive and sights around the Dingle peninsula. The B&B in Dingle was wonderful, a very spacious room with a fantastic view!!! Those two B&Bs were very clean and both provided excellent breakfasts! The lady at the Kinsale B&B ( Waterlands) was also very friendly. However, the room there was a bit tiny and the breakfast an out-of-the-box kind of affair.
In Cashel, the room was very small and noisy due to poor acoustic insulation and, unfortunately, the carpet had a terrible smell, most likely due to cat spray. We did not, however, make a complaint to the owner and the breakfast did make up for the shortcomings of the room. The town castle is very impressive. In the drive back we stopped in Limerick and visited the King Johns castle. Reading, as we did, about the history of Ireland while actually visiting the sites was a memorable experience, particularly at the time of the 90th commemoration of the 1916 Easter rising.
Our last night in Bunratty was pleasant -- the owner of Park House is a genuinely nice lady.
We are already talking about a next time when certainly we will explore Beara Penisula and drive around the Ring of Kerry. Finally, we want to let you know that we’re very much impressed by the beauty of Ireland and the friendliness and graciousness of the Irish people.
Thank you again for the perfect organization of our wonderful trip!

Thank you so much for arranging such a wonderful trip to
Ireland and London. George and I thoroughly enjoyed Ireland and, with all of the arrangements made in advance, it could not have been more relaxing. We loved the B&Bs and the owners could not have been nicer. Having breakfast cooked for you in the morning is quite a treat! In Dublin and London, we really appreciated the central locations of both of the hotels you chose. We were able to walk to most everything and, when we were not, there were buses or trains that were easy access.
Driving on the left and on the narrow roads took a bit of getting used to, but we survived! We spent time in Galway, the Aran Islands, Connemara, Westport, Killarney, Kinsale, Cork, Waterford and Dublin while in Ireland. In London we toured everything we could in the 2 days we were there. I look forward to a return trip to see more.
Again, thank you for everything.
Regards.

PS I will be sure to keep your contact information and pass it along to anyone I know who might be headed to Ireland.

Niall,
The trip was absolutely lovely. Your choices for B&B's were outstanding. The Ballyvara House was incredible. The Lighthouse B&B and the town of Dingle were probably my most favorite. With the exception of a few adventures in driving directions and road confusion, the trip was seamless. Just a marvelous opportunity.
We had quite a travel blitz in just those short 5 days, but I truly believe I absorbed a true feeling for Ireland and it's culture. While tossing Dublin in at the end was probably a questionable choice to start, it really was fantastic to be able to experience both sides of the Irish culture. I was very delighted by all the aspects of our itinerary, but was most impressed with the kind warm-hearted people we met throughout Ireland. Everywhere we went, it was as if relatives were welcoming us home. I am very much looking forward to returning to Ireland.
.
Thank you again for your perpetual patience and your guidance. It truly was a trip of a lifetime.

Dear Niall,
What a wonderful trip we had...and due in no small part to your pre-trip preparations and suggestions on the best places to visit that would meet our interests. You adapted quickly to our request to stay away from the big towns and focus on Ireland's historic treasures and the "great out of doors." As we understand it, the weather was a little wetter with a little more wind than the locals were use to for October (due to the tail end of hurricane's Rita and Wilma) but it did not daunt our spirits. Nor did it daunt the spirits of those that were sharing their homes and towns with us. Almost everyone we spoke to for any length of time--be it the owner of the B&B or the felllow standing next to us in line at a grocery store--all expressed hopes that we were having a good visit in their country. They also wanted to know how long we were to be there and what we had seen. It made us feel very welcome. And the choices you made for the B&Bs were great. The houses were either within walking distance of numerous restaurants and pubs or were in such beautiful settings that we did not mind having to make a short hop by car to get in to town.
We were lucky to enjoy a total of four nights of traditional music--one at Harry B's in Dublin and then a night in Doolin and two nights in Dingle. Dingle and the Dingle Pennisula proved to be our favorite stop. Though every town had its special personality, we thoroughly enjoyed the countryside and the personality of the town and the people of Dingle. While in Dingle I was lucky to purchase a hand-made bodhran from a local craftswoman. She and I had some time to visit and she even gave me a quick lesson.
We had every intention of adding kayaing and some major mountain hiking to our agenda, but the weather did not permit it. However, we did have plenty of opportunities to experience incredibly beautiful and dramatic scenary. We even made it over to Inishmore and enjoyed a blustery bike ride out to Dun Aonghasa and its surrounds. And as I touched on earler, we found no shortage of historic and archaeological sites to explore.
I could go on for a very long time and still not fully express what a great trip we had. Oh, and self-driving added considerably to the overall experience. After a few false starts we became very adept at navigating our way around on the numerous unmarked byways. Though driving on the left side of the road from the right side of the car on the very narrow, winding roads did put a bit of a strain on our marital bliss from time to time--the driving also became second nature.
Again, thank you for your part in making this trip possible and successful. As you might guess our "to do" list was longer than we could actually accomplish during our two-week visit. So we have already decided that we will be going back. And when the time comes for that return trip--we will be in touch.

Niall,
Teresa and I just wanted to thank you for putting together a great tour. At no point were we disappointed with anything that you had done or recommended. Even though a bit rainy (and we expected that and enjoyed it as part of the Irish experience) we had a great trip. We wish that we'd had a chance to meet you in person, and will be giving our heartiest recommendation of your services to several folks who have expressed an interest in a future trip.

Niall,
Now that John and I are back home and rested from our travels to Ireland and the New England states, we submit the following comments about our Ireland trip:
Both of us throughly enjoyed the tour. The drive through the countryside was beautiful and informative. Richard is an excellent bus driver as well as an excellent tour guide. We were so impressed of his knowledge of Ireland and its history. Passing that information os to us, as we cruised along, made all the difference. His "believe it or not" stories, along with his signing, was enjoyed by all on the bus.
What we liked about Caddie Tours, is there were no additional costs (aside from your noon lunch which we were told about in advance). Other tour companies have "side trips" which cost extra money if you want to go on them. With Caddie Tours, what you paid for is what you got.
The hotel accomodations were more than we anticipated and the meals were superb. If we had any complaint it would be the 3 hour plus wait at Dublin Airport before being transported to our hotel.
Thank you for all you did to make our trip to Ireland so memorable.

Dear Niall,
Thanks so much for all that info. When we did
Ireland before we used Michelin and a couple of guides (Routard and another one) that we bought in France (we were living there at the time in the Pyrenees in a tiny village of 350). But we missed a lot of things you listed. It always helps when someone can give you advice on what to see and many of the things you listed we did not see the first time around. I am hoping because there will be another lady on the trip that I might get to do some of the things that were impossible with my husband and oldest son! You have been more than helpful, Niall. I have a friend who is interested in doing a similar trip sometime, as well as a similar tour around Scotland. Although you are not a Scot, are there similar tours in Scotland for this time of year? I will give her your e-mail address.
You are the greatest, Niall, and I will certainly recommend you to other friends, esp. when they are looking for trips to Ireland. As I said before, Craig and I travel a lot (we lived in 3 countries in Africa for 4.5 years, 3 months in Malta, 2.5 years in France and 2.5 months in Amman, Jordan) and we love doing unusual things. Plus, we scuba dive (although not in the UK, thank you!) and love to go to tropical places (a weakness that came from our time in Africa!). So if you have any fantastic bargains ever, let us know!
Have a wonderful week, Niall.
Best Regards,

Dear Niall:
I want to thank you for putting together such an excellent trip for our group travelling to Ireland in June for Father O'Sullivan's 50th. The trip was well planned, the accomodations were well-located and of very good quality, the driver was pleasant, informative and always on time. We saw some wonderful sights--too many hi-lights to mention--and we had a decent amount of time to shop and poke around on our own. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Very truly yours,

Dear Niall:
>> We had a fantastic time in Ireland, thanks to all your hard work and your
>> anticipation of our needs. All the B&B's were great, with Suan na Mara
>> and the Lighthouse standing out as being expecially good. Car rental went
>> fine and getting around would have been fine if I had remebered to bring
>> the directions you had so thoughtfully printed out for me. Had I to do it
>> over again, I would have stayed 3 nights most places--we never felt we

>> off to our next B&B. Your sightseeing recommendations were spot on. We
>> found the Global Village in Dingle and a place called Baousice (I'm not
>> sure of the spelling) in Spiddal to be expecially good restaurants. I
>> don't remember if you had mentioned Bantry house in your little guide,
>> but Patricia wanted to go and we really enjoyed the gardens and the view

>>
>> I have been liberally sprinkling your cards around and we would

>>
>> Thanks again.

I have had the pleasure of working with Niall Leogue and Caddie Tours. Frankly speaking, I took a chance on Niall when I was already using another travel agency for my travel needs. Within a short time, the service Niall provided elevated him to the top of my list. Caddie Tours
is an organization that will go the extra mile and made sure that every last detail in my itinerary was handled with care. On my recent trip to Ireland, bad weather caused my flight to be delayed. My family and I were on a very tight schedule. It appeared that we were going to lose a day of our vacation. Luckily, I was able to reach Niall by telephone in the evening and he was able to provide me with accurate flight information, so that we were able make our connecting flight. Once in Ireland, we had a fantastic time visiting many different places over the course of 9 days. Niall had recommended outstanding hotels, B&B's, restaurants as well as numerous places to see. It was though Niall was our personal tour guide. In over 30 years of travel experience, I have never had the opportunity working with someone with such an outstanding work ethic that was coupled with excellent customer service. Niall and Caddie Tours are a top notch organization that created a custom vacation experience for me and my family. I highly recommend that anyone looking for memorable trip to Ireland speak with Niall.

Niall: I got your note last week and am glad to have the chance to let you known that I had a wonderful time on the trip. The hotels were great - the Garryvoe especially so. I miss my Irish breakfasts! All of the tours that were selected for us were exceptional - the tour guides at Cashel Rock, Muckross House and Jerpoint Abbey deserve special praise for being knowledgable and making the history come alive. I've saved the best for last - Robert Downing, our driver/guide was fabulous. He was very accomodating, making a special effort to get us to the Cliffs of Mohr which we missed on the first day because our plane was so late. His wit and humor were most enjoyable. He made the tour special for all of us. If I were ever to go back, I would want him on my bus! Chris Kirby, Washington DC

Niall-
Thanks again for organizing our utterly fantastic trip to Ireland in May. My husband Bill and I had one of the best traveling experiences of our lives. From Dublin to Kinsale to Dingle, we had a fabulous time. Your arrangements were seamless, which is always much relief when traveling internationally, and the B&Bs you chose were absolutely lovely! We especially enjoyed The Shores Country House in Dingle. Wow! Life does not get any better than that. We appreciate your attention to detail and customer service enormously. Thanks again. You'll be hearing from us in the future.
Very truly yours,

Niall,
What a wonderful trip! Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer (sigh) - maybe next time. All of the B&Bs were excellent and we couldn’t have asked for more gracious hosts. The food was great and although I normally don’t drink Guinness it certainly was excellent on the Emerald Isle. Our car was a Nissan Micra and it was very spacious yet small enough for a first time left lane driver. Every where we went the Irish were pleasant and helpful. The scenery is unbelievable! I personally liked the west/northwest area the best; Nickee enjoyed the interior more. Thank you so much for all your efforts in booking a great adventure.

Hi Niall,
Got back Saturday. We had a great time. The tour you set up in Dublin was fantastic. We had a great time and our tour guide Pat Fallon was wonderful. I did not kiss the Blarney Stone but my husband did. The hotel in Dublin was perfect. The Mont Clare. Good location and away from the noise.
I loved Scotland and the tour was good. I prefer the smaller groups like in Dublin but is was still a good trip to Inverness. Learned a lot and saw a lot.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Niall,
Richard, Joan and I want you to know what a great time we had on our trip to beautiful Ireland. Now we really understand why they call it the Emerald Island. I am so glad that we drove ourselves and had the pleasure of stopping and going as we wished. The itinerary that you provided us was wonderful. We felt that with your written guidance we saw much more than would have been possible without it. Even your suggestions of where to eat throughout the journey were right on target. And the hotels that you chose for us were fabulous. To return each night to such delightful and picturesque accommodations was perfect.
When friends ask what we liked the most about Ireland, it's difficult to choose but we finally agreed that it was the people. Everyone we talked to were extremely friendly and seemed to not only like Americans but knew so much about the US. I guess many of the Irish watch old movies because a number of people asked us about John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe! We had to chuckle.
Niall, thank you so much for your help and guidance. Throughout the years, we have traveled quite a bit and have worked with many agents. We never experienced the kind of genuine help that you provided. There was not a hitch in any of the plans or reservations that you made. We got so much out of this trip because of you than we would have otherwise. We will confidently and with pleasure recommend you to our family and friends. If you have other trips that you think we'd enjoy, do let us know.
With Best Regards, Judi and Richard Sugarman

Hi Niall,
We had a wonderful trip. Arrived in Shannon on Friday morning and visited Bunratty Castle and Durty Nellies and then drove to Galway. We stayed at Bayberry House Friday night and took the train into Dublin early Saturday morning. We traveled by bus and dart to Lisadell House and then back to Lansdowne Road Stadium. We got killed but it was a fun game to watch. We toured in Dublin Saturday night and all day Sunday. We went to a pub in a great little town called Dalkey on Saturday night and had a wonderful time. Took the train back to Galway Sunday night and drove north to the Connemeara on Monday. Visited Kylemore Abbey and had a bite to eat in Westport. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. On Tuesday, we stayed in Galway and visited the University and toured the town. Had a very enjoyable day and watched the sun set over Galway bay. We stayed at Bayberry House Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Marie has a lovely house and treated us wonderfully. On Wednesday, we headed south and visited the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. We stayed that night in Kilarney at MaggieO's. She was very friendly and had a nice place. On Thursday, we went to Kilarney National Park and planned on doing the Ring of Kerry, but the weather was terrible so we took the car ferry and headed to Kinsale. Joe was very disappointed that we could not see the Gap of Dunloe. We stayed at the Hillside House and Margaret was a lovely host. We had a delicious dinner at Jim Edward's on Thanksgiving and toured the town and the Kinsale Brewery on Friday morning. Our friend knows the owner Cathal, so he gave us a private tour and a free pint. We then headed to Cobh and had lunch at the Titanic Bar and toured the museum and the Cathedral. From there, we headed to Blarney and stayed at the White House. Very nice people and a nice place. Saturday morning, we kissed the Blarney Stone and headed back to the airport.
We packed in as much as we could, but there were a lot of thing that we missed. I guess we will just have to go back.
Thank you for all your help and information. If and when we go, we will certainly contact you and will recommend you to anyone who asks.
Joe will send you some pictures when he gets them all in order and documented. Of course, as you know, pictures do not portray the beauty of the country.

Hi Niall,
Thanks for the follow up. Ireland was wonderful. More beautiful than I had imagined. Your itinerary was great! I tell friends not to go over there w/o a travel agent agent like you to plan the tour. I can only imagine what a problem I would have caused for myself. All the b&b's and their operators were great to. Thanks for your valuable service. Sincerely, Mike McDermitt

Niall,
We had a great time. When we read all your driving directions here at home
we were mystified, but they were great. I think we missed our turns only once
or twice, but with your map we were great. The people were great and enjoyed
everywhere we went. Gerald and Hope kissed the Blarney Stone and we all know
they needed to--ha!
Thanks for all your help.
