Ireland's attractions

The Northwest including Cavan, Donegal, Leitrim, Monaghan and Sligo

Toweing cliffs, deserted golden beaches and rocky headlands abound along the rugged coasline of Donegal, which incorporates some of Ireland's wildest scenery. To the south, Sligo is steeped in prehistory and Celtic myth, with its legacy of ancient monuments and natural beauty enriched by associations with the poet, WB Yeats. By contrast, Leitrim is a quiet county of unruffled laked and waterways. The North West's landscape has been remarkably unaffected by the passage of time and is a striking mixture of coastal beauty, rambling hills, mountains and lovely lakes, all of which provide an extremely interesting location for any visitor. If you're interested in poetry - the birthplace of one of Ireland's greatest poets, W.B. Yeats. You can visit the Yeats building and also visit his grave at Drumcliff churchyard. The area also boasts splendid facilities for golfing, angling, equestrian, hiking, biking, cruising and watersports to name a few.
