2. Mourne Mountains, Down. Spectacular mountains that inspired Percy French, they literally sweep down to the sea, perfect for walking.
3. Giant's Causeway, Antrim. Amazing geological phenomenon situated on the stunning Antrim coast. In legend the Giant's Causeway was the work of Finn McCool, a giant who is said to have inhabited a draughty Antrim crag.
4. Walls of Derry. Visitors can walk the one-mile route along the City's walls-it is the best preserved walled city in Ireland. Also worth a visit is the award-winning Tower Museum.
5. Fermanagh Lakes- Stunningly beautiful and perfect for fishing and cruising.
6. Ulster American Folk Park, Tyrone. Fascinating outdoor museum telling the story of emigration from Ulster to America.
7. Sperrin Mountains, Tyrone & Derry. An area of outstanding natural beauty and the perfect rural location for walking, cycling and fishing.
8. Rathlin Island, Antrim. Dedicated naturalists should not miss a trip to Rathlin Island whose rugged cliffs are home to biggest seabird colony in Europe.
