The 17 individually designed bedrooms look onto the four acres of gardens and onto the lake with its majestic mountains as a backdrop. For the more discerning traveller the hotel offers a choice of Junior Suites or even a Presidential Suite.
The dining room is elegant and comfortable with large bay windows that offer a view over the gardens to the lake. Mouthwatering seafood, vegetarian and meat dishes are created each evening incorporating the very best of local Kerry products.
A picturesque drive around the largest of the Kerry Peninsulas, the famous Ring of Kerry, this 166km route can be travelled in five hours, but with stops, is best enjoyed as a full day trip. The drive takes you through such towns as Killorglin, Kenmare, Cahirsiveen, Waterville, and Caherdaniel with a majestic finale over Molls Gap by Ladies View and back into Killarney. Leisure activities in the area include golf at various courses, hiking and horse riding.
