Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive Shannon and be greeted by your professional driver. you may choose to stretch your legs after yoru flight in the village of Adare, one of Ireland's prettiest villages. Perhaps indulge in some tea and scones before continuing south to Dingle. Arrive at Diongle Benners Hotel, a classic hotel favored for its Old World charm and authentic Irish antique furnishings. Overnight; Dingle Benners Hotel, Dingle.
Day 2 -Following breakfast your chauffeur will take you on a tour of Dingle Peninsula, which offers some of Ireland's most breathtaking scenery, Slea Head, the Connor Pass, and Inch Beach. Arrive back in Dingle Town in the afternoon with time to explore on your own and enjoy the fne music available in its many pubs. Overnight: Dingle Benners Hotel, Dingle.
Day 3 - Following breakfast, relax and enjoy the ride through the Killarney National Forest. Perhaps stop in Kenmare for lunch at the Lime Tree Restaurant, your driver could call ahead for reservations. Continue on your way to the village of Ballylickey near Bantry on the Beara Peninsula. Day 4 - Today you journey along the coast raod to Kinsale, one of the prettiest coastal towns in Ireland. Kindale is a popular yachting center and also famous for its quality of cuisine. Overnight: Actons Hotel, Kinsale.
Day 5 - Travel today to the town of Waterford to see how the world famous Waterford Crystal is made. Perhaps stop along the way at Ardmore, the tiny village Nora Roberts made famous in her many novels. Continue on to "The Island". Eight hundred years have passed since Maurice Fitzgerald constructed a norman Keep on the island. Tonight you will sleep there! Overnight Waterford Castle, Waterford.
Day 6 - Continuing on toward Dubln visit Glendalough, one of the most historic places in Ireland. St. Kevin came here in the 6th centry. Today this is a picutresque scene of a soaring round tower and ruined stone churches. Arrive late afternoon at the Davenport Hotel on Merrion Square and bid farewell to your driver. Overnight: Davenport Hotel, Duiblin.
Day 7 - Take an open-top bus tour around the city. Spend some time shopping on famous Grafton Street, visit the Book of Kells at Trinity College or just stroll this vibrant cosmopolitan city. Perhaps have dinner at Chapter One in the Writers Museum. Overnight: Davenport Hotel, Dublin.
Day 8 - Following breakfast take a short taxi ride to Dublin Airport with time for last minute shopping at the duty free.
